Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2011

Bank of Maharashtra having Central Office, “Lokmangal”, 1501 Shivajinagar, Pune – 411 005 announced recruitment project for specialist officer under JMGS-I and MMGS-II scale.  Candidates who are Indian Citizens and having all eligibility criteria can apply online at Bank of Maharashtra website between 24th May, 2011 to 14th June, 2011, Date of Written Examination: 31st July, 2011. 



EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE FOR IT OFFICERS
Network Administrators

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications. Candidates having additional certifications like CCNA / CCNP would be preferred
Desirable : Experience in Installation, Administration & Managing CISCO Switches, Routers & Firewalls. Hands on experience on Non-CISCO Networking & Security products Exposure to Structured Cabling systems, Fibre Optics, WAN, MPLS, VSAT. Exposure to NMS like CA Unicenter, HP OpenView. Must have very strong fundamental knowledge in Networking including TCP/IP, ISO/OSI Layer, IEEE Standards. Candidates must have Minimum one Year‟s work experience in the above mentioned areas. Candidates having work experience in Banks/ financial institutions will be preferred.

Hardware Engineers : 

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications Candidates having MCP in Windows Server Administration would be preferred.
Desirable: Knowledge in Computer Hardware Management / Maintenance / System administration. Knowledge of UNIX, Windows administration is essential.
Candidates must have Minimum Three Year‟s work experience in the above mentioned areas. Candidates having work experience in Banks / financial institution are preferred

Database Administrator

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / MCA / MCS Candidates with additional qualification of ORACLE/MSSQL certification would be preferred.
Desirable: Knowledge in Database Administration, Maintenance with exposure to MSSQL / ORACLE 9 or above. Candidates must have Minimum One Year‟s work experience in the above mentioned areas. 

Candidates having work experience in Banks / Financial institutions are preferred.

Software Programmers

Qualification: Graduates in Computer Science [B.Sc(Computer Science), BCA, BE(Computer Science), B.E(Information Technology)]
Desirable: Knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle Knowledge of ASP, .net, Visual Studio Candidates must have Minimum One Year‟s experience in programming covering above skill sets. Candidates having work experience in Banks / Financial institutions are preferred.

IT Support Administrators

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science / IT / MCA / MCS/ M.Sc (Electronics / Comp. Science)
Desirable: Knowledge of implementing, supporting, trouble shooting, vendor co-ordination, data conversion from Legacy systems to CBS Data environment, SLA management, and providing support / training to end users preferably in Core Banking environment. Candidates must have Minimum One Year‟s work experience in the above mentioned areas.

Security Officer

Experience – Commissioned Officer in the Army / Navy / Air Force with minimum 5 years of experience, including Officers in short service Commission & Para Military forces or a police officer not below the rank of ASP / DSP with 5 years of service. The candidates must have proficiency in Information Technology and Cyber Laws / Cyber security.

Law Officer

Qualification: Law Graduates / Post Graduates in Law, who have secured more than 60% marks. For SC/ST candidates 55% marks
Experience: Three years experience as registered practitioner or three years experience as law officer in any commercial Bank / Financial Institute. Candidates having qualifications in any other parameters like CA, CS, and Computer & Diploma in Management shall be preferred.

Economists in MMGS II

Qualification: 1st Class Post Graduate in Economics with 60% marks or equivalent grade. For SC/ST/ A Post Graduate in Economics with 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Experience : Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience in a Bank or 2 years of Research work

SELECTION PROCEDURE 

The selection of the candidates will be based on written test and / or group discussion followed by interview.

    Scale I: The applicants will have to appear for a written test followed by an interview.
    Scale II: The applicants will have to appear for written test followed by interview.

M. D. University Syllabus for Clerk-cum- Junior Data Entry Operator Test and Download Admit Cards


Syllabus and other Instructions for General Aptitude Test

A. General Instructions

i) Max. Marks : 75

ii) Time : 75 minutes

iii) Marks for questions are indicated against each. There will be ½ negative mark for each wrong answer.

iv) Maximum 75 marks will be reduced proportionately to 15.

v) Minimum Pass Marks : 7.5 out of 15 marks

vi) Medium English as well as Hindi

vii) Question paper will be of Objective Type except paragraph and Letter Writing in English & Hindi Sections.

viii) There will be five Sections of the Question Paper. Each Section will carry 15 marks.

B. Syllabus

Syllabus and other Details for Computer Typing/ Data Entry Test Test Based on Typing and Use of Other Commands in MS Word.

Max. Marks: 25 Time: 10 minutes
Each candidate will be given text of length of 350 words, and will be evaluated on the basis of typing efficiency (speed and ccuracy). Scale of evaluation shall be as under:

Scale of evaluation is given hereunder:

Marking Scale =1 mark for every 14 correct words.
Minimum Pass Marks =12.5

Test Based on Typing and Use of Other Commands in MS Power Point
Max. Marks: 13 Time: 15 minutes

Each candidate will be required to prepare 13 slides each of 26 words using various commands (open, create, format, making word bold, italics, underlining words, bullets and numbering items, making paragraph alignment, color schemes, save, applying themes, presentation styles, time rehearsal etc.)

Scale of evaluation is given hereunder:
Marking Scale =1 mark for each correct slide
Pass marks: 6.5
Test Based on typing and Use of Other commands in MS Excel
Max. Marks: 12 Time: 15 minutes

Each candidate will be required to enter data of 12 records each of 12 fields using various commands (open, create, format and save a worksheet); use of various shortcut keys; graph plotting; charting techniques; Use of various formulae (Mathematical, financial, Statistical). Scale of evaluation is given as under:

Marking scale = ½ mark for creation of each correct blank field with heading & ½ mark for each correctly filled field & no mark for partially filled field.

Minimum Pass Marks = 6

Historical Development of Computers, Generations of Computers, Types of Computers, Components, Types of Memories, Input Devices (Keyboard,Mouse etc.), Output devices (all type of Printers, Media- Floppy Diskettes, Pen Drives, CD-ROMs, etc.), Types of Softwares (Operating Systems, Compilers and Interpreters, Application Softwares), Types of Computer,Languages, Data Representation, Components of Network, Types of Network (LAN/MAN/WAN), Data Transmission Modes, Data Transmission Media, Historical Development of Internet, Internet Browsers, Search Engines, WWW, Website, Home Page, E-Mail Concepts.

Section-C (English)
Comprehension, Paragraph Writing, Common Errors, Tenses, Synonymous,Antonyms, Word meanings, Spellings, Fill in the Blanks and Letter Writing.

Section-D (Hindi)
Same in Section C

Section-E (Maths. and Reasoning)

State Bank of India Clerical Results 2011

State Bank of India had advertised for recruitment to 6100 posts of clerks in 2010. The recruitment advertisement was for recruitment to clerical cadre posts in Associate Banks of State Bank of India. Written test for the clerical posts were held on 16 & 33 January 2011. SBI has declared the results and intimation regarding the written test results is being sent by SMS. Those who had appeared in the written test they should check their mobile which you had entered in application from for the results message.

Results of written test is yet to be uploaded on the State Bank of India website. Interview will be held from next month. For more information regarding the interview schedule, interview venue you should wait for the official correspondence from the SBI which is sent by post.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination Results 2011

Dear Students,

After appearing in the examinations every one waits for its Results.Class 12 Commerce results out at 10 a.m.


The CBSE was given its present name ‘Central Board of Secondary Education’ in the year 1952. The Board was reconstituted in the year 1962 when its jurisdiction was extended. Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak was established through an Act of Legislative Assembly of Haryana in the year 1976 with a specific objective.  "To establish and incorporate a teaching-cum-affiliating University at Rohtak for the encouragement of interdisciplinary higher education and research with special emphasis on studies of Life Sciences and Environmental and Ecological Sciences". During the last over 26 years of its existence the University has achieved a remarkable degree of success in its expansion programmes, infrastructural developments and in academic excellence. Moving from the limited original objective of studies in Life Sciences, the University today functions under 13 faculties with 27 post-graduate departments on the campus running 77 academic programmes.
